About Follow Your Arrows

My Journey,
My Why +
How I Show Up

Follow Your Arrows is about finding what works for you.

I coach young adults—especially those who think and learn in unique ways—through career, education, and life decisions with clarity and care.

Hi, I’m Holly Cook, founder of Follow Your Arrows LLC. I work with neurodivergent young adults (ages 15–25) to figure out what’s next when school, work, or life feels overwhelming. Sometimes it’s about college or career. Sometimes it’s about confidence, direction, or just needing someone steady to help sort things out. I bring years of experience in coaching, education, and higher ed advising—but also something deeper.

This work is personal to me.

A few years ago, one of our kids—brilliant, sensitive, and deeply introspective—was struggling in ways we didn’t yet have words for. I remember lying awake at night, wondering how to help, feeling helpless, heartbroken, and fiercely determined. What followed was a long road of learning, unlearning, advocating, grieving, and growing. It changed everything. It made me a different kind of parent, and a different kind of person.

That journey—alongside my professional experience—is what led me here. It’s why I created this coaching space.

Why Work With Me?
I don’t promise quick fixes or perfect plans. I walk alongside young adults as they explore who they are and what could work for them—on their terms, at their pace.

What I bring to this work:
• Lived experience as a parent of a neurodivergent young adult
• A grounded, flexible approach built for real-life growth
• Professional experience in higher education and coaching
• Certifications in career development and wellness counseling

This isn’t performance coaching or push-through-it coaching. It’s coaching that supports, encourages, and helps each person move forward without pressure.

My Core Values

• Individuality Without Apology
You don’t have to change who you are to grow. My approach centers your voice, your pace, and your way of learning.
• Real Growth, Real Life
Progress isn’t linear, and it doesn’t happen in perfect conditions. We work with where you are, right now.
• Flexibility is Strength
There’s more than one “right” path. We’ll adapt how we meet—remotely, in person, or even in-home—based on what works best for you.
• Encouragement That Sticks
Coaching should never feel like a test. I’m here to help you build confidence, decision-making skills, and trust in yourself, one honest step at a time.

Why “Follow Your Arrows?” The story behind the name…

Follow Your Arrows was inspired by a simple but powerful idea:

That every person deserves to move through life guided by their own true path — not by the expectations, pressures, or doubts of others.
The spirit behind our name was sparked years ago by a song that celebrated living authentically, choosing your own way forward, and letting go of the fear of judgment. That message stayed with me.

It reminded me of the incredible young adults I now have the privilege to work with — individuals who have so much strength, creativity, and possibility inside them, even when the world has made them question it.

Follow Your Arrows is a space built on belief: belief that you are already enough, belief that your path is worth following, belief that you don’t have to fit a mold to make a meaningful, beautiful life.

Here, we walk alongside you as you discover, navigate, and thrive — wherever your arrows may lead.

My Core Values

I use these values to guide every session, every conversation, and every part of this coaching practice.

Empowerment

You already have strengths—I’m here to help you use them. Coaching with me is about building confidence, decision-making skills, and self-trust in a way that feels doable and real.

Flexibility

There’s no one right way to grow. We’ll adjust how and where we work together based on your needs. That includes in-person, remote, or sometimes even meeting in-home if that makes the most sense for you.

Individuality

You don’t have to change who you are to move forward. My approach centers your voice, your pace, and your learning style, because your path should fit you, not the other way around.
