For Parents + Caregivers

A Note For Parents + Caregivers from Me:

If you’re here, you’ve probably already tried a lot.

School meetings. Encouragement. Therapists. Tough love. Everything in between. You want to see your young adult move forward—but it feels like the world wasn’t built for them.

Whether you’re tired, heartbroken, or just trying to figure out what’s next—you’re still showing up.

I see you. I’ve been there. And I built Follow Your Arrows for families like yours—families holding so much love, frustration, fear, and fierce hope. This isn’t just coaching. It’s partnership. It’s forward motion—without shame or pressure.

Parent FAQs:

What does progress look like?
Progress might look small from the outside, but it’s never meaningless.

It could be:
• Showing up to a session without resistance
• Naming a goal—even if it’s vague or likely to change
• Making a clear decision, or beginning to pause and reflect with more self-awareness
• Exploring a new interest or career path that actually feels like it could fit
• Beginning to believe that a future is possible—one that makes room for who they really are

My coaching is focused on building self-understanding, self-direction, and self-trust—not rushing, not fixing, not forcing.

We move forward in ways that work for your young adult, with gentle structure, consistent support, and honest encouragement.

Will you keep me informed?
Yes, if your young adult consents. I honor their privacy and your need to feel connected. I’ll work with you both to set communication expectations that feel right for your situation. I also welcome collaboration with therapists or mental health providers if that’s part of the support system.

What if my child doesn’t want to come?
That’s okay—and common. Sometimes it takes a few tries. The first consultation is free, low-pressure, and just a chance to talk. No commitment, no pressure, just a door they can choose to walk through.

How is this different from therapy?
I’m not a mental health professional, and coaching is not therapy. I don’t diagnose or treat emotional or psychological conditions. Instead, I focus on helping young people build clarity and confidence around life, education, and career decisions. I often work alongside therapists, especially when mental health and executive functioning are also being supported.

My goal is simple: to help your young adult find their own way forward—and to remind you that you’re not alone while they do.
